Do you know your spiritual gifts? It's a good thing to know and to find out. There is great joy walking in your gifts. I find great joy in walking in mine.
There is no greater joy then finding what you are meant to be doing and doing it!
As a writer on EzineArticles I find immense joy in the fact that thousands of people take the time to read my articles and in my other activities on the web. I have much joy when prophets and prophetesses "practice" their gift of prophecy on me.
Do you know what you want to do for the Lord? Have you a gift that your not walking in at the moment? I encourage you to get going and get moving in the gift and use it for the Lord.
The Lord Jesus told a parable about the talents and in it he gave us clear warning that we should be using our gifts. The person that hid their talent was cast out where he was punished by the torturers. The idea of suffering for not using my talents is not an idea I like, that is one of the reasons I use my talents.
What could you do for the Lord?
Perhaps you could serve in a soup kitchen? Perhaps you could sow clothes for the third world? Perhaps you are a prayer warrior and you can wage war in the heavenlies?
It is a great exercise to do a study on spiritual gifts and have people pick out the gifts that they feel that you have. We did that at my church and people picked out my gifts and I had to agree with them they were able to pick the gifts that I was good at.
Take the time to find your spiritual gifts and then begin to walk in them
