What would you give to look into the eyes of Jesus this side of heaven? I met a stranger one day whilst washing up for a living. We worked a casual shift together in the course of the evening we found out that we were both Christians.
If you read my articles you might see that I am a bit full on with Jesus and this night the Spirit might of led the conversations topics. He told me that one day in prayer he asked the Lord Jesus to do something in his life that would cause all the doubt of Jesus' love for him to cease.
He said that he got up one night to go to the toilet and wandered into the kitchen to get a drink. As he turned around toward the dining room with his glass of juice the Lord Jesus appeared to him.
He told me that the Lord was dressed in white and from his chest came this white light, that when it hit him he was bathed in light and love.
He said, "I am the father of four children and there is nothing I would not do for them as I love them with all my heart, but that light that came out of Jesus was 100 times the love that I have for my children."
God is love and Jesus is a manifestation of God the Father as He said to his disciples, "if you have seen Me you have seen the Father."
I have met men of God with the eyes of Jesus. They are so full of love and in that love you can see that they can see right through you. These holy men of God, you just know that they can see you are a sinful person but they make you feel that you are the best person in the world.
But as good as I can describe it. Heidi Baker says it so much better in a video that is just over a minute in length.
