Four Secrets to Walking in a Huge Anointing of God

You can search the books and find them. These are pretty simple to share with you, but they are a lot harder to walk in. Have a look at this brief article if you want to know how to increase your anointing.

First Secret... Time spent in prayer each day.

I have met two Apostles in my life and they both spent copious amounts of time in prayer. One of them stayed in my two bedroom apartment for six weeks. I used to get up during the night to go to the toilet and I would hear him praying the Lord for hours upon hours each night. Sometimes I got up twice in three hours and quietly in his room he was in fervent prayer.

Another Apostle that I have met told us that anything under two hours each day at the feet of the Lord is useless if you want a anointing that has Power. It is easy to say, yet sometimes it is very hard to do.

Second Secret...Time spent in the Word of God

One of the Apostles told me that an hour in the Word each day is only a maintenance dose for your personal life. He said if you want the anointing to preach and you want to get fresh Word you need an hour for your personal life and extra hours to get the messages that the Lord wants you to preach on.

Both Holy Apostles that I met have Bibles that have many marks and underlines and notes on every single page of their Bible. They also had extensive knowledge of what the Bible was saying. One Apostle says that He needs a new Bible every four years as he wears them out by then.

Many Christians have Bibles that sit on a bookshelf and many of them don't even take the Word of God to church.

Third Secret... Fasting brings on a stronger anointing

One of the Apostles I met said in Asia he preaches up to seven different sermons on a Sunday. He said to have the anointing to do seven sermons he had to fast, pray and be on the Word of God all Saturday night.

This Apostle also knew to tell people to fast for three of four days that he was going to do deliverance on. Not only did he fast, but he had people fast that had a demonic presence in their life. The fasting of both the Apostle and the person with the demon makes sure the demon will come out for sure.

Fourth Secret...Get busy doing something for the Lord, that will need an anointing for

I heard one great teacher on the anointing say what it was very easily. He said the anointing is simply THE POWER TO DO THE JOB. If you are not doing anything in the ministry that needs a strong anointing then the Holy Spirit will have no reason to give you one.

Sure you can walk everyday in the presence of the Lord, through praise and worship, prayer and time in the Word, but an anointing to minister to people comes when you are needed to minister to people.

There are many things that a person can do for the Lord. God would give you a stronger anointing if you wanted to share the truths of the Word of God online like this. If you spent time with the Lord each day, and you are gifted in the area of preaching then you can write articles that keep people reading till they are finished.

Reading teachings done by people without a strong anointing is hard to do. Any preacher can have a weak anointing by neglecting these four things in His life. A pastor can get so busy they don't have the time to seek the Lord's feet. When a pastor is not operating in the Power of the anointing, not only will their sermons lack power, but the pastor finds his work hard to do.

So brothers and sisters, go forth and seek the higher anointing off God and get busy doing the work of the ministry.
