A Prophetic Prayer of Jesus For the Modern Man

Jesus prays:

Dear Father,

I pray that you touch this reader right now with your Spirit and bring them peace.

I ask that you teach this reader in the Word how to abide in Me and how to walk in the Spirit, so that their days are ordained by Me, their steps ordered by the Spirit and their ears open to Our nudging.

I ask that you take away all urgency in the reader, by leading them to scripture promises that guarantee that they will be fed, clothed and housed, that their daily needs will be met and that they can reach the potential that We have for them. I pray that as they meditate on the sure promises of God found in the Word that worry and anxiety will flee and will be replaced by peace and assurance that We know what We are doing and We know how to provide for Our loved ones.

I ask that you birth in each reader a desire to serve us in the best way that they know how and not only birth the desire, but through angels and the Holy Spirit give them direction and steps to complete that worthy goal of service.

I ask that you grant the reader the desires of their heart, the desires that are in your will Oh Father, and those that are burning deep within them no matter how hard or impossible they might seem to be.

I ask that you give them a good knowledge of the Word and with that knowledge and the hearing of that Word that they may develop the faith to pursue their dreams and the desires you have placed deep in their hearts.

I desire that you would grant the reader the ability to hear Your audible voice, the Spirit's voice and Mine, in their spirit and that they might not only follow the commands and desires of Us as we speak to them and lead them, but they also might carry messages to others through the gift of prophecy.

I pray that you teach each of the readers through books, sermons and the Word how to worship you in Spirit and in Truth and how to live a life that is set apart and holy just as you are holy.

I pray that you might set them free in time from the bondages that false doctrines have in their life and false teachings and lead them to shepherds and teachers that teach the pure unadulterated Word of God.

I ask that you give each reader an eternal perspective, a desire to sow money into the third world gospel and to prosper the workers in the harvest with their blessings, and in doing so store their treasures in heaven where thieves cannot steal them and moths do not eat them.

I ask that you birth in each of the readers a supernatural ability to love and from this prayer on give them a new sense of loving You and their neighbor in such a way that sin just seems to diminish in their life right away.

I pray that you sing songs to them in contemporized love songs and they get a real idea of just how much We the Godhead love them simply as they are warts and all.

I pray that the Bible may come alive for the readers and that they may thirst with a real longing to spend more time reading it and that Your Spirit may be the great Teacher that will lead them into great understanding and true wisdom and serenity.

I pray that you bless them, you keep them, your lead them and prosper them so that they may sow back into the Kingdom that has eternal worth.
